About us

Mehran UET launched its very own campus radio station; MUET FM 92.6 aka "the voice of my university" under the category of non-commercial fm radio license, granted by PEMRA - Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority. This student-radio is a proud initiative of Telecommunication Engineering Department, Mehran UET Jamshoro and being operated under the supervision of qualified and experienced industry professionals. It provides a platform to maximize the campus outreach as well as disseminates community awareness about new trends, technological innovation, research and development in the fields of engineering, science, health and other segments of public interest. It’s an enormous milestone of entire team at MUET FM that we’re thrilled to share it with our listeners. We are committed to provide even more learning, fun loving and knowledge filled podcasts in future.

CEO's message

I believe that even in the modern era radio plays an important role to educate the community. There is an increasing demand for qualified individuals in Pakistan's rapidly developing media industries and with the Introduction of MUET FM in 2019 had paved the way for students to learn about broadcasting and its importance. The outstanding efforts of MUET FM will inspire Mehran UET students to reach their full potential. I wish them good luck in contributing best out of their services to accomplish organizational goals.
